I always suspected that the 'application' of super-powers was what kept some relationships together.

Mr. Fantastic and Plasticman were the two that lept immediately to mind in terms of guys who could keep their ladies happy tongue.gif

and let's not forget metamorpho, clayface,mystique.......

What a sad attempt at a Fanboy's Wet Dream come true. I guess it's true that the hacks at Marvel really don't have any new ideas. makepoint.gif

Really pathetic isnt it, they're not satisfied at debasing their own legacy with their drivel they have to try and disturb some unsuspecting kids too, Good work Quesada u troll.

I actually think its hysterical, and realistic. If you had those powers, there'd be a lot of this kind of kinky experimentation.....

But I dissaprove because kids are reading, and there are things in fiction, realistic or not, that don't have their place. You'll never see a scene in a movie where Catherine Zeta-Jones rolls out of bed and makes number 2, even though it is a part of reality. It just dosen't have its place in the movies, and adds nothing to it(not to mention that it's repulsive).

In this case, this kind of thing has no place, especially with a title like Avengers which is supposed to be reader/kid friendly.

....and it looks to me like he went "fishin'" and fell in. blush.gif (highlight the blank section to the left for a crude comment I just had to make.)

This comic is awful.

My thoughts exactly. It's a cheap thrill, using an oft-used fanboy wetdream as the basis for more hackwork. I could care less about the sexual content; it's just lame writing to be visualizing what slavering geeks have been thinking about since the 60's. It's not new, it' s not innovative or ground-breaking, it's just really sad.

It's like in Fables, where the writer constantly made reference to his "killer joke" about Snow White living with dwarves being a tad risque. Ummm, buddy, they've been making Snow White porno cartoons since the movie came out, and it's news to you only. 27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif

On another note, we rented The Italian Job with a few friends, and when the movie was over, the comments were essentially "That was a good movie, and especially since it didn't have any gratuitous sex or gunplay". The writers worked hard to maintain suspense and interest, and amazingly didn't fall back to the usual easy-out hackwork.

I wish the hacks at Marvel could do the same.
