Is it on paper or linen or ...?

 

Looks like linen judging from the fiber fray on the edges.

 

There cant be many of those around anymore. I would love to here the history on where that was found.

Hi,

 

I have seen the Spider Banner once before and some of the other canvas banners (alot of serials had them as promotion items).

I have a Shadow one and a couple of others. They are generally 7-9 ft in length. They are cool to see, but I found out first hand the space needed to display one (thought I might have needed to have another room added on in order to display the Shadow one), and the cost of framing ($900.00 to frame the Shadow one).

I am a big fan of various advertising items from the 30's and 40's, as many did not survive because they were just tossed out in the garbage.
