What a cover!

Thnx Richard - Hannes Bok's first cover. I love it. :luhv:

Something about it reminds me of this...

Both of those are pretty darn cool!

Not even in the same league with what you guys are posting but it's my first Shadow pulp. I wasn't really planning on buying it but now it's mine

and I love it... even though I won it with my tracking bid.

:applause: It is a memorable cover.

One of the best - I think I prefer this to the classic skeleton in the curtain cover. How often do you see a dapper skeleton on a pulp or comic cover.

Amazing Stories Vol 3 No 5, August 1928

1st appearance of Buck Rogers

Wow, nice pulps !! Seems like RedFury has been holding out on us! :applause:

I've read that the cover does not actually reference the Buck Rogers story, but I prefer to think otherwise. Very nice! You have to love the knickers on the girl - so 1920s.

Memorable indeed, though I confess to "The Creeping Death" (which Scrooge refers to) being my favorite Shadow cover.

To go along with the Amazing Stories 1#2 posted above, I also picked up these 5 books in the same batch... and there's more to come.

3#6 (1st "Scientifiction" cover):
