PGM: Avengers King Size #1 ... good ebay purchase???

I recently bought this this book as VF/NM on ebay. Just got it in the mail today and was suprised to find it pretty acurately graded. What do you think?

Not with the stain and shmutz on the BC. Can that be wiped off or is it crusted on?

 

If there are stains I say 8.0/8.5 tops.

8.5, but the BC that Joeypost mentioned is the culprit. If it comes off easy or is a scanner trick, it moves up. Nice book!

8.0/8.5 (dinged for the BC substance) seems about right. I'd take a good look at it...if it is "crusted" it may flake right off.
