My first Gold Key Book !

Just picked up this baby for $215 including shipping. All of my current collection is modern comics, but it seemed like too good a price to pass up on this 1963 book.

I was aware of the warnings, but it appears that raw books are what to worry about, not CGC graded books.

I've collected Gold Key comics for years. I've become leery of paying higher prices for HG GKs over the last year since the Random House Archives and other file copies have surfaced. There's no database of what was in the stash and it seems dozens of issues have come to market. It used to be easy to identify scarce HG GKs but since the find, there's no telling. Eventually we'll know but now it's a crapshoot...
