Yesterday I put this oneup, looking to see if it might go 9.8. Seems there is a very slight rip in the back cover. My question is do you think it might go as 9.6? It's an very clean book.

I appreciate that you want to give us all the detail, but those images are much to large.

 

All you need is a 98 dpi.

They look like very clean books. 9.6/9.8 ballpark I'm sure.

 

When you say 'slight rip' on the Magnus 0, do you mean around the top staple? If so, I've seen that on other Valiants. Must be a Valiant production flaw. Don't know how CGC would grade it. I'm often surprised at how high CGC will grade comics when the flaws are 'production related'.

Need larger scans frankly... and scans of the back covers.

From the smallish front scans, minimum 9.6, possible 9.8s.

 

These scans were at 125 dpi. My new ones are 300. Can't have it both ways, either their too small or they are to big.

The Harby has a dented bottom left corner, and is that a spine stress at the top of the lower staple? I'm thinking 9.4 without the spine stress, 9.2 with.

 

Please note, if you check the grading contest results you will see that I do not know what I'm talking about

That was another book with the rip. It's on the back cover of Magnus #13 showing the Terminator...by this left hand...

The question was if the rest of this book was perfect would the tear take it to 9.2? 9.4? or 9.6?

 

I'm hoping to enclude these three in my first shipment to CGC. I think they MIGHT be 9.8. with my fingers crossed and the wind don't blow.

The tear on the #13 would probably drop it even lower. I'm no expert, but I'd be disappointed to find a flaw like that even in a 7.0
