What did the last MP 15 CGC 9.8 go for?

$1940... but it was a better copy. Only a small straight miswrap at the spine and nice vertical centering too... there was actually a little bit of clearance above the comics code.

I know this is a topic of debate, but it seems that books with a little off centering (that is have a little white showing) seem to grade higher because they are less likely to show stress lines or impressions.

I did not pick it up. Was thinking about it after I saw how much the one was going for on ebay, but I did not. There is a Tomb of Dracula 10 CGC 9.8 on comiclink. That is the first one I have seen.

spidermanbeyond hit it right on target,i know a few people when trying to find 9.8s look for the miswrap because they really help with stress lines.if there was a 9.4 i was buying i would rather it have a stress line or so than a mis wrapped cover.

Looks like this got one pulled and sold privately . It seems like this happens alot on Ebay and it doesn't seem right to me. When I get offers to end an auction early, I say it would not be fair to the other bidders.
