In Hake's Americana & Collectibles current auction, not only are they offering another assortment of CGC-Graded comic books, but they are also offering original specialty art created for Overstreet Comic Book Price Guides. While not all of the art was featured in the finished editions, it by no means lessens the signifigance of these pieces. Artists such as Harvey Kurtzman, Gray Morrow, C.C. Beck and Ayers have presented Captain Marvel, Bulletman, The Ghost Rider, as well as two pieces showing a vast selection of Golden Age heroes, one in a humorous skinny-dipping scene. The Morrow and two of the Beck pieces are signed to Bob Overstreet himself. Fans of comics have come to know the Overstreet name via his informative guides which have remained an industry standard for over 30 years.
