DC Decade - month by month sampler - The 1960s

Another week, another DC year! 1968 is now open, along with flashbacks to previous '60s years.

 

When 1969 is done maybe the thread can revert to its original concept - to post at least one book per month, in order, from Jan 1960 to Dec 1969?

 

If there is interest to contribute to re-do it that way (in a couple of weeks) the thread could then run itself out to a natural conclusion.

 

We'll see!

This was a transition period from 50s-60s frump to the hot Lois of the late 60s on.

New hairdo in #72, 1st cover appearance on #76 (since her hair was covered on 74 and 75 was an annual) but still by Schaffenberger, then the transition to coves by Neal Adams with Lois in miniskirts and all. I wonder if this cover was a shock to Lois fans and a bump to her circulation.
