I was expecting the 2nd edition of the Standard Catalog of Comic Books

later in October, but Books-A-million shows that my copy has shipped.

According to the latest CBG, they added quite a bit of pricing information based on auction sales. I am curious, and may pick up a copy too.

Mine arrived today...

 

This thing is MASSIVE.

 

The last numbered page is 1,444, and there are ads after that.

Twice as thick as my Overstreet Annual #33 hardcover.

 

Every book has the "highest CGC grade" mentioned,

and sales are listed anywhere a grade was sold at least 3 times.

Circulation and Diamond / Capital City sales numbers for tons of books,

and even "approximate multipliers" for the CGC prices.

 

Will it REPLACE Overstreet Annual? ...not a chance.

Is it SUPER-FUN for the middle of October? ...you bet.

 

Books-A-Million will rethink their free shipping offer (see above)

after they ship a few of these cinder-blocks out!

Could you please advise if circ numbers are present for the major mag titles such as Vampirella (warren of course),SSOConan,Tales of the Zombie
