Anybody else read "The Death and Life of Superman"?

Finished this over the weekend. It's the novelized (novelization?) version of the "Death of Superman", "Funeral for a Friend", "Reign of the Supermen", and "The Return of Superman" storylines. Written by Roger Stern, who was part of the writing team for those stories (and a veteran comic writer).

I read the Barnes & Noble edition; about 422 (oversized) pages. I enjoyed it (it's been a great "breaktime" activity after work while I eat supper, before the GMAT prep class I'm going to twice a week). Just wondering who else has read it over the years and what you thought.

Did it differ at all from the comics? I've read the TPBs but don't remember every detail.
