Top half is basically perfect. Bottom has some kind of black residue of an unkown origin (back cover too, but less). There is slight spine roll.

I'd estimate that as an 8.0.

That's broken ink from the printing process...no spine stress at all on this copy.

Well i would say 8.0 to 8.5 ---either way NICE book!!
