new to OA - WALKING DEAD art $$$ ?

11 posts in this topic

Hi All!

I'm totally new to OA - I actually would like to buy a good page from WALKING DEAD - which is my favorite series right now..

Being a long time horror / zombie fan.. What do the pages usually cost?

I realize a lot is probably based on the content, but I would like a good page with some good zombies on them!!

Any help would be great! Thanks!!

oh wow.. I didnt know it was that reasonable.. I was expecting a lot more!

Thank you!

Ill put a post in the marketplace :)

Well, as others have mentioned, it depends on whether you want a Tony Moore zombie page or a Charlie Adlard zombie page. Nice Tony Moore pages (with zombies) can run anywhere from $500-$1000, and nice Adlard zombie pages can run $200-$300, (with Adlard zombie covers ranging from $900-$1200).

I own a couple of pages from each artist, and have been following the prices fairly closely, so shoot me a PM if you have any questions, and feel free to check out my Walking Dead art (which is my favorite series as well) in my CAF below:

I hope that helps, and good luck!

What are some good original art web sites to buy from?

Sounds good Tyler, I look forward to chatting about WD art :cloud9:

For starters, here is Charlie Adlard's art for sale (he is repped by "SplashPageArt")

Tony Moore sells some of his art through his website as well:

Also, check out ebay from time to time, or browse comic art fans galleries and try contacting some the art owners (thumbs u
