Seriously, other than the professional color touch, what did I miss? I had this pegged at a solid 9.2, shot at 9.4.

color touch on a few areas of the spine - on the top and maybe? bottom and possibly bottom right corner - does CGC ever tell you where?

Did you check it under a black light?

 

There are a few stains or dirt spots on Donald's collar.

 

Otherwise a beautiful book!!

Oh the grade's back already...sorry 'bout the CT...that's a real bummer and a heck of a speciman! What is with the CT fairy ...must have gotten to books over the years while we all slept...

Wow, unless the scan is holding back, it LOOKS like a NM to me. Sorry about the color touch, but it sounds like you will be able to recoup. We can all empathize with this situation.
