I was working at Universal when that film was made. The parade was spectacular to see in person -- just a mass of humanity, all in costume, with floats, etc. Really wild sight packed into that street in the backlot.

It may live up to Arnie's poor acting, but for me it lives on as a classic Xmas movie, one that I watch every year!
