I know that area as I went to school near there, but don't remember a big comics presence there.

Paul is an excellent guy to do business with - top notch!!

plus two stores in Blacksburg

Beholder's Eye and

Fun-N-Games

Roger Mannon's been running a vintage comic book show in Salem since the late 90s and it's always been fantastic. It's held at the Salem civic center every August or September. I think this years date is August 17th? A lot of great books have walked through the door at that show.

I went to W & L in Lexington but lived in Roaonoke for a couple years. There weren't many stores around then, but I didn't ever get to the civic center. That would have been cool. I have beeen to B & D.

They have been around for a long time. It is a nice shop. They seemed good to work with but I wasn't buying as much then as I am now.

Yep, I went to W&L Law and was in Roanoke for a couple years, but missed the beach, more than the mountains, so moved back to Myrtle Beach. I haven't been back since.
