The correct date of the STAN LEE appearance is MAY 4, NOT JUNE 8 as mentioned in the last listing of this event. Here's the correct information:

 

STAN LEE, the Co-Creator of SPIDER-MAN, IRON MAN, HULK, and many other MARVEL COMICS SUPER-HEROES, appears at the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION on MAY 4, 2008 to sign copies of his new book, ELECTION DAZE: WHAT THEY'RE REALLY SAYING. ELECTION DAZE features STAN's brand of humor as he places his funny captions on photos of politicians such as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Bush, which is sure to appeal to readers of all political parties. STAN is signing 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. STAN will sign all copies of ELECTION DAZE purchased at the Convention (retail is only $10.00) and ONE additional item that you bring at no additional charge (free).

 

CORINNE ORR starred in the Classic SPEED RACER animated series as the voice of TRIXIE, MOM RACER, SPRITLE, and all the female characters. CORINNE has done voices for STAR BLAZERS, ULTRAMAN, MARINE BOY, SAMURAI JACK, BATMAN BEYOND, and many others. CORINNE is making a rare West Coast appearance to sign autographs, and while there is a fee, it includes a choice of either a photo or postcard. CORINNE has a cameo role in the new SPEED RACER live action film.

 

ART CLOKEY, the Creator of TV's GUMBY, appears 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. to sign copies of the new GUMBY TRADE PAPERBACK from Wildcard Ink. Also appearing will be GUMBY, and HOLLY HARMAN, the voice of MINGA. Free GUMBY Bendable, Button, Bookmark, Postcard, and Movie Poster while supplies last.

 

Classic Comic Book Artists TONY DEZUNIGA (Jonah Hex), ERNIE CHAN (Conan), ALEX NINO (House of Mystery) appear to do sketches at reasonable rates.
