Yet more NYCC art...(and yes, more zombies!)

This was my first NYCC and I had a blast. I had no goals for art, so everything I got was a bonus. I really went to hang out with fellow collectors and that was the best part of the show. Great seeing people I knew and meeting new faces. Big thanks especially to Lambert and Mandy for putting me up. Hope to do it again next year.

 

I ended up getting caught up in sketch mania. Here's what I ended up with:

But out of everything, the one thing I was most excited to get was this 5 second doodle by children's book author Mo Willems:

I had no idea who he was. But Lambert was bug-eyed about getting something from him, so I knew his books had to be good. He was right. I bought some there and now my kid loves them. My wife loves that I got something to hang in her room. I found the key to getting permission (and, better yet, encouragement!) for future cons. Note to comic con organizers...please get more kids' writers...

Nice haul! Both Adlard and Moore zombies are awesome and look great together - and that Freddy/Jason/Ash cover is super cool.
