I'm a little bias as I think IM was the lamest hero in the Marvel universe growing up hm
Story and art on Subby/IronMan; and IronMan #1 and #2 are incredibly lame, but there are quite a few good IronMan books out there.

 

The movie makes up for any weakness in book format.
