I am so thrilled they are doing a tv series instead of a movie. Even if they made 3 movies over the next couple years that would only be 5-7 hours of content. Assuming the episodes will be an hour then we'll get that in the first half of the season.

 

Around the time I picked up the first trade I remember reading something that made me believe this series was going to be awesome. Kirkman said something to the effect that he wanted to do a zombie book because with the movies, all you got was 2 hours then everybody was dead or wasn't. He wanted the space to really develop stories and characters. For that reason I think a tv series rather than a film is the best way to adapt his ideas.

 

And c'mon...who doesn't want fresh Walking Dead every week!

So, how do you think this current lavish lifestyle will last? It doesn't seem like we will see some zombies for a while now...and we will concentrate more on the human drama. This reminds me of the early days they arrived at prison.

I've assumed that you're caught up to around 55 or so... past that I've spoiler tagged it.

 

So, back to the Gov for a minute. Wouldn't it be cool to understand the man's back story? I'd personally like to know (Anakin style I guess) if he was "normal" and just flipped out when his family was destroyed...I mean...he was french kissing his zombie daughter for kris sakes!

 

So, why would a zombie bite infect a human yet fluid exchange like the above is possible? Gross readers wanna know!

 

Why are the zombies getting too lazy to bite us? Are they running out of juice?

 

Has Rick gotten over his wife? Not many phone calls lately...

 

I was kinda let down by the lack of character development of the kids save Carl...are they just pawns for some future sick plot?

 

Will Carl eventually be the Gov if he survives to man-hood?

 

 

What is the major drama that unfolded in last issue...apparently there has been a dark person in their midst...and what was his crime...stealing from the candy jar?

 

Will there eventually be an organized movement by the government? I was kinda led to think we were "going there" but have instead found ourselves in another living habitat.
