Not bad huh? Chin up, it's not as if TWD is going to be forgotten after it has had such a huge impact on pop culture.

 

You have to recognise that some of the discussion on the OA forum tended towards grail / blue chip pieces and basically pits moderns against the origins of the genre as we know it. Hardly a fair fight, but it's a sobering look at the bigger picture if you want to try and work out what is value for money in the market as a whole when you are deciding what to get.

 

There are some cracking threads over on the OA side when it comes to prices and the hobby in general.

Anyway ... sorry to digress so much. It's just that the OA prices this month had me raising both my eyebrows. One for the prices and the other for them selling so well :P

wasn't me... Still waiting for my stubs to grow back.

I picked up some of 113, though not the cover. Not collecting for investment purposes, more so because I love the story, art, and characters. That said, after this purchase I have to throw in the towel on purchasing OA for a long while.

In anticipation of 'All Out War' I was thinking it might be fun if someone created one of those vote poll thingys to see which way we're all leaning in our allegiances (I'd do it myself, but.. I can't, lol) any takers?

Hrrrm.... I haven't really got caught up in the whole faction side of things so far. When I think about them apart from the Survivors the other factions are only really represented by one person that has a developed character. (shrug)

 

There are one or two notable exceptions amongst them, that being Dwight and Maggie for me(assuming she is part of Hilltop now), but otherwise the factions are pretty empty unless I re-read the character list.

Survivors = Rick & most of the characters we know and care about.

Saviors = Negan (+ Dwight)

Hilltop = Jesus (+ Maggie) ... admittedly I could recall more but am not invested

Kingdom = Whatshisname... oh yeah Ezekiel

Hey Guys just been reported who's the mystery Savior in the next cover of the WD #114. The guy (Savior) being choked, by Jesus, is none other than Mark @splashpage. Awesome huh?!?! I know Garf had mentioned something about the guy being choked... lol Awesome stuff
