New WD art at splash..........I hope in a few days all the good pgs. are gone. Go get'em guys and do me a favor. I'm going to try and stay clean of walking dead for 90 days. God help me. I'm on day one. :(

They aren't that good... I think if you are buying now you actually do need help. AoW and a new inker is around the corner. Besides I would imagine quite a bit more action is seen next issue.

 

You have to ask yourself has there been one of those moments on a page that is going to stick? Not this issue IMHO. Sure it was good... but we have seen a lot of similar scuffles and the like in the earlier stuff.

 

It's rolling up to the 10 year event and... oh nevermind. :makepoint:

Lots of good moments coming....more art...more covers. I agree with you on that. Hope the flood of art brings down the prices. But the cover is cool.

Yea there's a lot of good pages imo. Yes there has been a lot of scuffles, I have never seen any pages like this up for sale. So to me they're awesome......

I think great art is coming........but like you I only stared collecting AO after Issue 101. Maybe even a little later. The AO was a little flat. Not much going on. For everyone that was around for the first 48,the OA that was just put up is no big deal. For someone like a new collector it is a big deal. Most of the older OA is much more expensive for the key or great pgs. If you can even find it.

You Walking Dead OA collectors are going to be in big trouble if the new inker inks over Adlard bluelines/scans - then not only will the issues be coming out twice as often, there'll be a choice of pencils or inks!

 

I haven't seen mentioned anywhere if this is the case or not, but presumably Mark at splashpage would know...

Eric your awesome!!!!! Your collection way surpasses mine...... I really don't have many comics. I have only been collecting books for about 2 yrs. When TWD came on TV I didn't even know there was a book. Then I found it and that's when I started my collection. Then I found OA. I only have about 4 pages. There are people out there spending thousands and thousands of dollars on WD material. I'm just the little guy. I don't know why people think I'm this rich person, when in reality I'm not. I work my off and when I feel like spending my money on something that makes me happy, then it's all worth it. I am covered in tattoos from head to toe, and that will be the only thing I know I will take with me in the next life. Do you honestly think If I told someone to bury me with my collection that I actually think they would? I wouldn't even know.

 

Sorry just ranted there....carry on lol lol
