Has the USPS been slow lately?

Seems to me that media mail/parcel post is taking a lot longer than usual. Even Priority seems to be coming at the tail end of the advertised range of days.

 

Of course, I bring this up only because my wife just chastised me for a misunderstanding in which I sent a package by parcel post when it should have gone priority foreheadslap.gif and the recipient will not be there tomorrow and the USPS usually leaves everything outside for anyone to steal foreheadslap.gifforeheadslap.gif.

 

It is a sad day when a government office can't come through to take care of my f-ups.
