Wizard World Chicago Forum Dinner

Figured it was about time to start the Official Chicago Forum Dinner Thread. This will be the fifth year, and every year has been better. Last year we had a record 53 people show up for dinner, and another 20 or so wander in to geek out under the watchful eye of the benevolent Donald E. Stephens: lol

Because its at Gibsons, in Chicago?

Not a bad price for what you get actually but I can see how it might seem pricey.

Then again, you get to view the wall of fame during dinner, its well worth it.

So can I ask why it costs $75 just for a dinner???

Mike

Because it is Gibson's, and you're getting what you pay for. The best steak you'll have in a long time, tremendous side dishes, incredibly attentive service, and a fabulous atmosphere that you won't want to miss. Treat yourself for a night. (thumbs u You won't regret it.

lol Yeah right. Mr. Donut saw the final bar bill last year. We had 53 people paying $75 per head for food. Our bar bill was significantly higher than the food bill.

$75 is not all that bad considering the place, the city and the food you get. Thats all inclusive sans any alchohol.

It's a full course first class meal and the service was way above average. I actually had the bartender pouring me free tequila shots because we were arguing which was the best brand.

lol

Dan do you think the room might be a bit small this year?

BTW, 4 Dinners bought and paid for. Me, Louise and 2 guests will be attending!
