What:

CGC Forum Dinner - Chicago

 

When:

Saturday, June 28th, 6:00pm - ??? (Dinner at 8:00pm)

 

Where:

The Rosemont Room, Gibson's Steakhouse, 5464 North River Road, Rosemont, IL (right across the street from the con!)

 

Now with menus!

Ceasar salad

 

Choice of one

Filet mignon

Bone-in sirloin

WR cut steak

Pork chops

Fish of the day

(straight vegetarians, please contact me - I know of a couple)

 

Baked potato (as big as a football)

Veggie combination plates

Just wanted to let you guys know that Ricki and I made the drive home safely and passed through customs fairly easily. (thumbs u It was a full 7 hours driving, and I'm bushed right now. zzz

 

It was fantastic meeting you all and I'm already looking forward to the next time, just don't know when that will be. I hope you all enjoy this dinner, I know the party is going to be great and I wish I was there. :banana:

OK, now the important questions:

 

1) How many people had to be picked up off of the floor after the Forum dinner last night?

 

2) How many DUI's involved?

 

3) How many "But occifer, I really DO collect comic books and don't normally get drunk like this!"

 

3) How many "I got drunk and traded Hulk #1 for an X-Factor #1?"

 

4) How many "I slept with THAT after the Forum dinner last night?"

 

Sorry I missed it. Sounds like it would have been great fun.

Both dinners were fantastic. Each had a different (both ending after midnight) and many stayeed up drinking and talking till 2-3 AM.

 

The dinner at Venus rocked (food was first class) as well as the company. Gibsons was a blast but it was harder to talk since there were so many at the dinner.

 

Both Angelo and Dan deserve major kudos for putting them together.

Somebody must have one. Wore the VCC ELITE shirt all day Thursday, including at the Thursday night dinner. Very comfy, I must say.
