The crime books are great. At one time they were outselling superheroes about 5-1. I can see the attraction and I'm hoping to fill a couple of my needs, so I'll be lurking.

Always nice to have company....pull up a chair and have brownie (no calories, so have 2;)

I always thought they were neat, I'm just trying to focus on a few other series:) and they are getting expensive;)

kind of a key...I like really sick covers and that one has a guy trying to lure a little girl with an ice cream cone. "The pedophelia cover"

Nice cover (photo taken from current eBay listing)

Do you think we can sell it on this thread...;) Kind of reminds me of Little Orphan Annie ? (:

I think it's Daddy just back from divorce court and he realizes his daughter is about to cry so he is rushing back from the ice cream truck with a nice single scoop to Tutti Fruiti to make her day. No? (Less room for interpretation for the one where the guy holds his wife's head on the burner on the stove)

Justice Comics #9 (1949, the 2nd one). This is a really nice, solid copy, I'd call it 9.0, except there are two very small, almost invisible stains just above the letters. Still around an 8.0, Guide is $82.00 Bin is $60.00

Justice Comics #25 (Atlas) , 6.0 and a Gerber no show, if that matters. Front looks better than the grade, but there is a crease on the back cover, so I downgraded it. Guide is $33.00, bin $25.00

A horrible death and a cop mocking you as it's about to happen, now that's harsh. That is an incredible cover.
