Grade request for my Elfquest....

I am putting the following book on ebay soon and I was hoping to get some opinions on the grade....

 

The only real defect of note is the bottom left corner...

Either the scan did not come out well or the colour on the book seems faded. If the colour is rich then I would give this book an 8.5.

That's the way these books look...they were not printed on glossy stock...

That looks like a pretty nice 8.5. I don't notice any spine stresses at all, but the corners and color are obviously the biggest detractors for this book.

Yeah, this was an early independant, put out on a shoe-string buget and printed (if I remember right) by a publisher going out of business. Thats as bright and colorful as this book comes!

 

Knowing that book, its probably a 9.2 (for the ding on the bottom corner spine)

Yeah, it's a newsprint cover... never had any gloss to begin with!
