At least a 7.0. Just has the look of a book with general wear on it with a small accumulation of defects. Certainly could make a 7.5. If the gloss is like new (which I don't think it is) it could even reach an 8.0.

 

Pick one.

 

On second thought, scratch the 8.0 idea. Don't think so.

From the looks of things, this book doesn't have much other than the usual wear from handling. I see a few spine stresses, rounded corners and minor creasing on the edges. A bigger scan would help, but off-hand I would give it a 7.5

Lot of my books look like this. On the top edge, is that the hint of some foxing forming? (perhaps more pronounced on the inside front cover?).

 

By the way, does anyone know the CGC position on how foxing affects the grade? I did a search of the Ask CGC section, and it's not addressed here, so if no one knows, I'll submit a question.
