New "add to calendar" function on E-Bay

Anybody notice the new "add to calendar" link on ebay auctions? I think that's new today...I haven't noticed it before just a few minutes ago.

Yeah , I notice it too during last Sunday evening and I click on a small window box but nothing happen.... what gives??!!

 

Unless it all to do with Ebay custom toolbar which you have to install in which I haven't installed it yet.....

EXCUSE ME, but I'm the lazy one, I asked so you hardworking folks could explain it to ME.

OK, I spent the 3 minutes it takes to read what this feature does...it somehow allows you to save the ending time for an auction into calendaring programs like Microsoft Outlook or the Palm Desktop. Whoopee yawn-doo...what does E-Bay spend those hundreds of millions in profits on? This had to be a whopping $1000 worth of programming time.

 

The E-Bay toolbar is better, but I'd prefer a little icon on the system tray (where the clock is in the Windows taskbar) that has a list of descriptions and current prices for items you're watching with an interface like ICQ or AOL Messenger.
