Luis Bermejo Painting new to my CAF Galleries

Hi there

 

I've been having a dig-out of some old art at the bottom of one of my filing cabinets and have come across a 1960s Luis Bermejo cover painting from the famous UK publication, EAGLE.

 

From what I recall, Luis Bermejo contributed story art to the Warren magazines during the 1970s, so his work should be known to afficionados of VAMPIRELLA, etc.

 

The painting's just been uploaded onto my CAF Galleries (see link at bottom), if anyone here is interested in his work.

 

It depicts a large squid-like sea monster attacking an old-time sailing vessel (shades of 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA).
