PGM: Journey Into Mystery with Thor 124

Someone around here knows more about this than I, especially how CGC would grade this say than per pure Overstreet analysis...I'd guess that it's at least a 4.5...the foxing is to be considered as well...perhaps a 4.0 but I don't think any less than that...at some point I believe, there will be a maximum grade perhaps VG/FN...

 

Having said that, I believe there was a book posted recently (might have been in one of the grading contests) that had some rust on the staples not quite this severe that if memory serves me was an 8.0 or 9.0 or so book...

 

Still a nice copy with lots of eye appeal... :headbang:

Disregarding the rust, the book looks like a 6.5....

So, I would say 5.5, but I'm no expert on how CGC handles these....

 

There's a large crease on the front barely visible, which would take the grade to 4.0 in itself, imo. My opinion/guess is that at 4.0, the rusty staples wouldn't push the grade any lower.
