Just read Hulk 55, and HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT( part 1 ) was a pretty cool story. The Absorbing Man is one of my all-time favourite villians.

too bad Nick Nolte had to play him in the movie.

I was bothered more with the fact that the "Absorbine" Man played in the movie was Banner's father. I mean, how much further from continuity can ya' get.

 

How difficult would it have been if he plugged in a con with a bald head and turned him into the Absorbing Man. That would have at least been at attempt at being a little truer to the history of the character, even if he was introduced as a Thor villain.
