Found a #1 they guy wants $30 bananas for it in VF condition , really books for like $16 and no mask either. I guess Ill have to shop around to see. Which issue is Betsy in>??

I can't remember which issue was the first Betsy but I don't think it was one of the earlier ones. I haven't actually read them in years.

Bought them from Vault's last auction.

 

Just opened them up. In better shape than expected.

 

Will post scans tomorrow. They are keepers (OWW White page quality).

Really fun series. Betsy's Braddock's first appearance was in #8. Besides #1, the early issues are actually some of the cheaper ones, as the books in the teens are considered more scarce. John Buscema took over the art sometime in the mid twenties. I sold a #1 on the boards last year for $20-$25, and if they have the mask, they tend to go for a little over guide. One of the Koch brothers has them up on ebay occasionally, they probably have a decent stash of some issues.
