How does an extra staple, possibly replaced staples affect grade in LG books?

I recently met with a guy who is selling some of his old war comics. He has several from the Golden Age, but a few of them have 3 staples in them. The more I thought about it, the more I thought that maybe the staples might have been replaced completely by someone who thought there were 3 staples in them originally.

 

My question is would this affect the grade and/or value of a book that was already in at best G/VG condition. I looked at my OS grading guide and it looks like they allow for replaced staples in that grade. How would CGC view that? How do collectors view that?

I just want to know if I am correct in thinking that replaced staples wouldn't affect the grade of a 3.0 or so GA book. I was also wondering what kind of hit in terms of value it might have.
