Your question is too general. Some of the variables include supply & demand of SA Marvel vs DC vs other publishers. Then u have to factor in age like pre-1966 or 1966 to 1970. Have to examine supply like whether it was part of the Mile High 2 horde of SA /Bronze Age Marvels. Also, we are supposed to be in the middle of a Cgc market correction so all percentages go out the window. tonofbricks.gif

This is very general but for many Silver-Age Marvel's a good starting point would be;

CGC VF 50% of NM Guide

CGC VF+ 75% of NM Guide

CGC VF/NM 110% of NM Guide

CGC NM- 175% of NM Guide

CGC NM 350% of NM Guide

Also, X-Men and then ASM might be less than these percentages in general because of the hype that has occured on these titles in the past few years. Therefore, there is a lot of supply and Guide is a touch more accurate on these titles.

A title like Journey into Mystery is just the opposite. These percentages are usually too low. Many NM JIM from the early Silver-Age will sell for 500-600% of Guide because there is very little supply of these books.

Hope this helps and remember is a VERY BASIC guideline. If you really want a more accurate resource, get a subscription to GPAnalysis.

Krause publications runs a CGC price index every issue in Comics Buyers's Guide.

The numbers are expressed as percentage of a 'raw' NM book.

The numbers bounce around a little, but here is one set of multipliers times the NM 'raw' price:

6.0 .33

7.0 .49

7.5 .58

8.0 .78

8.5 1.04

9.0 1.55

9.2 2.21

9.4 4.10

9.6 6.20

9.8 13.68

9.9 22.500

These are just averages and as the other posts noted it varies a lot by title and changes over time.

Good approximations that are fairly easy to remember:

6.0 1/3

7.0 1/2

8.0 3/4

8.5 1

9.0 1 1/2

9.2 2

9.4 4

9.6 6

9.8 12

9.9 20
