This may be a dumb question but are you trying to collect every DC comic? Those 220 comics would fill a lot of holes in a very big collection.

Do you collect the second (and third, etc) prints too? I suppose for cover variations you almost certainly do. But what about those that are otherwise identical? I''ve spotted some that come from the mulit-paks that are 2nd and 3rd prints. I don't think many of them are even noted in Overstreet...

 

Here's Batman #414 that's a 2nd print as noted in the indicia. It's not noted as existing per OPG.

My attitude to variant covers is this...........

If I come across them I'll buy them, but don't count them as separate comics unless it's a situation like Team Titans Number 1, where there were five actually different number ones.

But as I said, I WILL buy them if I can.
