BB-Gun
By the way, I have tried to buy coverless copies on the internet but found half of them are missing the centerfold. I guess people think it doesn't matter or they don't check or they keep the centerfold for another married copy. It seems frustrating. I think I do this to increase the number of golden age comics that I can buy but hope that it isn't a complete loss of money. A high grade CGC copy is still probably a better investment but I can never justify owning just one box of comics that are high grade versus 20 boxes of golden age that are not. I recently lost a large number of silver age comics to people who went through my house while it was on sale or the movers or the painters that helped me fix it up but couldn't bother to match the colors with the walls. I hope some dealer made a few bucks off of those high grade books. They weren't very interesting but now I have to buy some silver age Batman issues...again. BB-Gun
[ Sorry to hear that BB Just whining cause I found my Shadow comics were missing. I will probably find some of them in another box but searched for the Batman comics for a long time with no success. They probably were found by someone from NY or NJ. I sold better stuff for bargain prices but I have been trying to finish a Batman collection which now has a big gap in the silver age portion of the run. By the way, does anyone know which Timely comics were running this ad?
