X-Men 101

I'm trying to judge the condition of my X-Men 101 (first series) and the Marvel Comics Group bar across the top is an issue. From left to right it gets a darker shade of orange-red. I thought maybe the issues had been a victim of sun or light exposure but nothing else on the cover appears faded. Could this be an issue with the inks? Does anyone else's copy look like this? I've tried looking at copies on ebay to compare but it's usually too subtle a thing to pick up on in a scan, especially those on ebay.
