Offhand, (just pulled this stack out of a magazine holder), I've got the following 30 cent variants:

 

Defenders 35 (VG-)

Thor 248 (FN+)

Thor 249 (FN+)

Captain America 197 (VF)

ASM 156 (VG) 1/4" triangle missing from right cover edge

 

I'm not really collecting these so any reasonable offers or trades accepted. (I've also tried to undergrade or be as accurate as I can given the Overstreet Grading Guide, but I'd be the first to admit I haven't graded too many books.)

Rob - did you get the notes off the CGC registry? BTW - the scan cut them off but you had it down verbatim: 1 large piece of tape on spine, 3 large pieces of tape on interior. 2 sheets of paper attached to interior covers: library stamp says "arbutus (arbulus?) JR. high school"

Yeah, I copied it out of the registry. That's UGLY! Good luck finding an upgrade on that one. Normally, I wouldn't suggest trying to upgrade one of the Westerns, but that one screams for it. Too ugly.
