This is the first book I've nearly bought just for the cover in quite some time. I enjoyed Middleton's covers on Supergirl almost as much as Hughes on Catwoman, but this one is luminous.

And this is possibly my favorite A.S.S. cover. I love the villains' costumes, an intersection of Byrne Kryptonian design and 1930's Flash Gordon sci-fi. The image also evokes Charles Atlas body-buildign ads, sort of, though Lois is intervening on behalf of the chump. I think I'm reminded of something else but can't place it. What's the deal with the radio tubes coming out of their heads, anyway?

I must say I am truly entralled with Vigilante series... just smart and engrossingly good read. Reminds me of Hitman series.

When I saw this "Death-Trap" was a story-arc thats gonna cross 3 books (Teen Titans, Titans, and Vigilante) I was kind-of bummed, but was relieved that the writer from Vigilante (Marv Wolfman) is running this game and so I was like... "Im in!"

 

It was totally worth it in the end! Total shocker and loved it!
