Anyone been following these? They have been putting up some amazing sketch covers over the last few weeks. As much as I wanted some of them, bidding has been just insane. Here is one book I would love to have and when I checked the current bid today, I just deleted it off my watch list.

i've been watching some of those as well. insane prices indeed! but it's great that it's all going to Hero

I won the one done by Ramon Bachs for $260 but can't show it because its not back from CGC yet. It may be the cheapest one of the group.

But the thing alot of people don't realize at first, is this stuff is like OA !!

 

No one in the world will ever own the same sketch -- which I think is awesome if I had the money on hand I'm bump that bid. It also seems to be the most detailed one they have up.

The best deals are to be found on the convention floor when they do the live bidding. Although not all of the Ebay auctions have been as nuts as the Keown.

What did the McFarlane Ult. Spider 100 Sketch cover go for?

I could be wrong, but I think it was over $9000.

The McFarlane Spidey went for $6,701. We were hoping for $9k, but it didn't materialize. I think the Frank Cho Spidey was in the $5,400-5,500 range.
