Any ideas?

An odd piece of artwork I came across, I don't know about any art after the early 70s so can anyone give me a potential value or info on this:

I would say maybe a couple hundred and a big maybe. No superman or characters and a relatively obscure artist. It is a title splash which appeals to some people.

I don't remember the "Cutting Edge" story and don't remember Eddy Newell at all. I think $200 is a generous number.

That's true, you did.

 

There's a lot of ink spread on this page and what was drawn seems to have been drawn well but all it really seems to have going for it is (a) it appeared in a Superman comic and (b) it's a double-page splash. No reason for a collector to pull out his wallet beyond that.

 

I'm thinking $75 - $125. Maybe.
