Bought this off eBay and it arrived today, but due to a bad packing job and manhandling in shipping the bottom left corner was bashed in. Though the book wasn't in great condition to begin with (VG at best IMO, probably lower), it still presents really well in person, except for the bashed in folded-up bottom left corner. In fact all of the books that came packaged with it were bashed on the corner, but that one hurts most. None were particularly pricey or I'd be looking into some way to recoup.

 

That corner looks worse in person than it does in the pic.

 

Makes me sad that the book made it all this time, from the 1950s, only to meet such an unfortunate semi-demise. I still love it but feel it is deserving of some sympathy.
