Hello,

 

I’ve sold a few books from the 2,000 book collection I picked up recently...if you want a list of the top 300 books drop me an e-mail and I'll send the Excel. The books now include ASM 33 to present, Cap 100 – 115 and X-Men 1-15 as well as many others. Also have Graham Nash’s common Captain Americas if you like unusual provenance. If you are looking for 1995 – 2003 Independents, the collection had a lot—including the bad girl books from that period in very nice condition.

 

This post is focused on selling X-Men 1 - 15

 

Terms – Shipping for orders over $200 will be free in the continental US otherwise $10 for priority mail in the US. I can ship a few books priority to Canada for $10. Otherwise, overseas will be actual shipping incurred…typically $45 or so for 5 – 10 day service. I will eat PayPal fees as well.

 

Condition - All books are raw, unless noted, and lower grade books are graded to Overstreet Standards--read the 2.0 description it is a reading copy at best. Higher grade books (8.0+) are my perception of stricter CGC standards...so a 9.2 is awfully sharp. Unless noted page quality is fine and often better than the covers.

 

I am more concerned with having happy collectors than arguing about condition so if you have any problems we can make an agreeable adjustment or I will refund the purchase price. If I suspect restoration I will highlight that in the description—I have not restored any of these books and bought them as unrestored. If you find restoration, you may return the books or we can make an adjustment.

 

Scans – I have posted scans of the X-Men 1 – 15 here…I can provide scans of the Caps upon request

 

Trust – I am "mtlevy" on eBay so you can see I have 100% feedback at 250+...an occasional seller...I collect original art and you can see my gallery on CAF where I am a premium member.

 

Price – In the first price column, I provide the graded Overstreet price for reference. I am selling the X-Men 1-15 as a set…if there are no takers I will either go to eBay or perhaps break up on the Board…so PM me if you only want some of the books perhaps someone else will want some others…the prices broken up will be a bit higher than the set price of course.

FYI, If I split the set, X-Men 1 will not be well below Overstreet. Has anyone seen a reader copy sell for a lot below OPG?

yes. i bought an unrestored x-men #1 for 700 on the boards in 3.0 (g/vg) and i sold it to someone else for $800.

So a nice reader copy for $800...so at $750 for X-Men #1 then I am only asking $500 for 2-15 when sold with #1--free shipping and I eat PayPal fees too!
