Showcase New England on Ebay

They seem to post auctions in "big batches". They are probably between batches.

I was thinking about this myself recently - their business model is large, Silver Age heavy 400 item auctions every two weeks, more or less without a break. It's been at least two months since their last auction (as far as I know).

Unless Dan and Co. are rebuilding their inventory....

I wonder who the "LONG TIME COLLECTOR" is.

Yeah, it seems strange. Just curious...moreso to find out if another seller has perhaps skipped ebay.

It's possible. SNE started doing the type of auctions they're known for way back - they've probably been constantly selling, more or less exclusively on ebay, for a decade. It'd represent no small sea-change if they left the bay...

These lots scare me because it's good to poor - many could be missing pages, pieces, centerfolds, back covers. There's no details. As a matter of fact, I have 200 or so pre-1955 books that I put aside from the Northhampton collection which meet this description perfectly. They are all missing pieces or are in a conditionI considered unsaleable. If I can list these as good/poor and get $3 each I would be quite pleased.

There sure are some nice books in the lots, though. One of them has three Baker books in it.
