FS: Trick or Treat? Adding comic goodness all month long

23 posts in this topic

I will be posting books all month in this topic, mostly with something relative to Halloween.

Don't forget Grimm's, Spektor and Dagar sets posted here:

70s Gold Key sets

:takeit: gets precedence over all, but PM offers if you want to negotiate.

$10 shipping continental, $20 Canada, exact shipping for other.

Credit card (AmEx, Discover, MasterCard, Visa), cashiers' check, money order, PayPal and personal checks accepted. Personal checks must clear my bank before shipping; no cash please.

All raw books are in 2 mil Mylar bags with acid free halfback boards.

Every package insured for OPG or paid value, whichever is higher, to cover any damaged shipments. Any other disparities handled by 1) mutually agreed credit toward next purchase, 2) mutually agreed partial refund, or 3) approved return and complete refund. Those are in order of preference--with item 3 obviously being the last resort. I don't think anyone enjoys having to ship things back.

Who is this guy, and why is he trying to sell me his comics?

I'm a collector first--have been for decades. Still seeking those holy grail kinds of books. :wishluck: I've been all over the back roads of Illinois for many years.

September 2008 were my first online sales ever--here in this forum. Here's my first kudos :)

I regularly do the Springfield, Peoria, and Urbana, IL and Terre Haute, IN shows listed at http://www.epguides.com/comics. Alan Morton organizes them and has his phone number on the scheduled events. I've been doing shows with him ~2 years. Just ask him about "Leon" from Urbana, IL. I've sold/traded CGC and raw books 1924 to modern at the shows. I am adding Chesterfiled, MO (St. Louis).

I've also done some trades at the Urbana show with Leroy Harper, LHCOMICS@hotmail.com. He advertises in Overstreet; pg 1019 under Kentucky in the 38th edition softback.

I have a business account with PayPal to take all major credit cards. I've had a PayPal account in good standing since 2002. I am virtualeon on ebay as well, but other than one purchase, I've never used it. Maybe this will be the year.

I have Illinois business tax number 5551-9857 which can be checked at:

https://www.revenue.state.il.us/app/bgii/servlet/BGIInquiry

I've owned the virtualeon.com domain for many years. Leon is my middle name, and folks at comic book shows know me by it. The web site is currently just a virtual business card and a place to store images. I am working on a Web 2.0 application, but believe it or not, comic books are not my day job no matter how much I wish it were so. :)
