OT: DC Direct Classic Joker Minibust

Hope it is ok to ask this here since it is related to comics!

 

I bought the Classic Joker mini bust today where he is holding the needle and preparing to pop the Batman head balloon.

I was wondering if anyone here has it and if so is the needle supposed to be removable? On the one I bought the needle will come out of his fingers and I am wondering if it is broken or made that way. Thanks!

It had been sitting in the comic shop for at least a year (probably more) and I finally broke down and bought it. I kept hoping to get one under retail on eBay and decided it just wasn't going to happen. I am enjoying it it no matter if then pin is supposed to be fixed in place or not though!
