I plan to frame it. What kind of glass should I purchase? Are there any other protective measures that I need to take?

You'll want to get UV protected plexi-glass with archival matte and archival stickers (they're clear, plastic looking circles) to stick the art to the matte. Best bet would be to take it to a frame shop and asking them custom frame it for you with those materials. :)
