It's not an ASM, but I'm surprised nobody's posted that appalling cover with Spidey and the three kids at the phone - though those two SSMs are nearly in the same league of retarded ugliness.

I always hated Mark Bagley with a passion

his art will always remind me of the horrid 90's

which I almost hate as much...

 

Anorexic Spidey and short hair smart hulk

creates the ultimate suckfest to me...

 

I mean heck, can a body truely conform to that position where you can

see the back of the spine and the front of the groin in the same view

without you back being broken???

it shouldn't be hard to find a CGC 10 on this one because I'm sure

When we were kids we loved this cover! It was the largest figure of Spidey ever drawn (at least up to that point) and I remember a few of us cutting the image out of the cover and gluing it on our notebooks.

 

This cover is still one of my favorites.

 

 

This is the sort of insight into the past that I love to read.
