It is the very first Mickey Mouse comic book from 1930.

The very rare 1st printing too.

With every character it is the First appearance or 1st issue that is of the greatest importance, especially one as popular as this world famous Mouse.

Presented here is the very first comic book (or book) appearance of Mickey Mouse!

Over the years there would be numerous Mickey Mouse publications but this was his very first.

This book had four different printings between 1930 - 1932, to make minor corrections, but this is the very FIRST printing. A major problem with this first print was with the song lyrics. It actually had the words "We feel so bad then we're glad that you up and Kill him"!!!

This caused a backlash of concern from parents causing the book to be pulled and reprinted with the lyrics changed to remove the word "kill" from them.

The condition of this book is exceptional. Complete with no writing. No tears or distracting creases. Perfectly centered. Nice off-White and very supple paper quality. Very minor and small discoloration on the back cover (see picture). Completely unrestored original condition. A solid FN to Very Fine.

Last years Overstreet Price Guide value: FN = $6,000.00 - VF 8.0 = $12,000.00

I am listing this at only $1 with NO Reserve
